Motion

STOP MOTION

STOP MOTION

BLUR MOTION

BLUR MOTION
1. Which picture is the best shot of this assignment? Why

I think my best shot was my second stop motion picture. I love how u can see the surface of the water were the dye hit the liquid and were the other dye has fallen into the water.

2. Which picture is the weakest shot of this assignment?  Why?

I think my weakest shot is the first blur motion picture. I feel like i didn't stand still enough when i took the pictures so it looks a little off and not as unique movements. I also didn't edit it very much.

3. How can the weakest image be improved on in future shoots?

Edit it to look a bit better or just take a whole completely new photo.

4. Did you use Photoshop, Lightroom, or both?  What tools in the programs did you use to edit the pictures?

I used Photoshop. I used crop to eliminate dead space and edited the levels and colors of the picture.

5. Explain how were you able to meet the objectives (GOALS) of the assignment? **THE GOAL CHANGES EACH LESSON. **SEE THE EQ ON THE ASSIGNMENT AND ANSWER THAT FOR THIS QUESTION.

I was able to meet the objective of the goal by taking plenty of photos that show blur and stop motion.

6. What was easy about this assignment? Why?

It was easy to edit the image.

7. What was difficult about this assignment? Why?

It was difficult to stand still while taking blur motion photo and getting more than a couple photos that were not similar.

8. If you could do this assignment again, what would you do differently?

Id see if my mom can buy me glow sticks and help me take more blur motion photos.

9. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being your best effort) how would you rate your effort in this project?  Why would you give yourself that rating?

Id give myself an 8 for how quickly and good the project came out when working on it for two days but also because i turned it in late because i was a couple projects behind.

LOW DISTANCE

LOW DISTANCE

LOW DISTANCE

1. Which picture is the best shot of this assignment? Why

My best shot is the low distance picture of my golden jar. It isn't as much stuff in back like 1st low distance photo and its more warm and nicer color in my opinion compared to the fire alarm thing on the wall.

2. Which picture is the weakest shot of this assignment?  Why?

My weakest shot is probably my first photo of ant man. Him being in a cage makes it hard to seem him also the necklaces behind him are also catching the eye because it did not blur.

3. How can the weakest image be improved on in future shoots?

I can take the photo from different angle and move those necklaces to the back or completely out of photo.

 4. Did you use Photoshop, Lightroom, or both?  What tools in the programs did you use to edit the pictures?

I used Photoshop and the adjustments in image. i changed contrast and brightness and fixed levels.

5. Explain how were you able to meet the objectives (GOALS) of the assignment? **THE GOAL CHANGES EACH LESSON. **SEE THE EQ ON THE ASSIGNMENT AND ANSWER THAT FOR THIS QUESTION.

I was able to reach this goal of this project by having objects or things in the background blur and have eyes focus on one thing that is not blurred.

6. What was easy about this assignment? Why?

The easiest part was adjusting levels in Photoshop.

7. What was difficult about this assignment? Why?

The most difficult part was getting the background to blur. My horrible android phone didn't want to blur the background.

8. If you could do this assignment again, what would you do differently?

Have the background not blur but an object in front of it.

9. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being your best effort) how would you rate your effort in this project?  Why would you give yourself that rating?

I'd give myself a 7 because when the new tern started i stopped working on it but when i actually worked on it i did it because it could still help my grades. i did it all in one day with motion project.

Pop Art

1 . What is the best thing about your art work? Why?

The best thing about my work is following the color wheel to chose my colors.

2. What is the weakest thing about your art work?  Why?

My weakest is using yellow and green twice because I think they're all supposed to have different colors.

3. How can the weakest image be improved on in future shoots?

Choose different colors to use.

4.   What tools in Photoshop did you use to make the image?

I used magic wand, pencil tool, and move tool.

5. Explain how were you able to meet the objectives (GOALS) of the assignment? **THE GOAL CHANGES EACH LESSON. **SEE THE EQ ON THE ASSIGNMENT AND ANSWER THAT FOR THIS QUESTION.

I was able to take a photo and edit it 4 times in colors and make each one look different and then put them together.

6. What was easy about this assignment? Why?

Coloring after using magic wand to select.

7. What was difficult about this assignment? Why?

It wasn't very difficult.

8. If you could do this assignment again, what would you do differently?

Choose some unique colors not part of the color wheel.

9. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being your best effort) how would you rate your effort in this project?  Why would you give yourself that rating?

I would give myself a 9 out of 10. I did everything needed to complete the assignment and it looks awesome. I would've given a 10 if I had not used two colors twice.

   1. Which picture is the best shot of this assignment? Why

My best picture is the shell because it has the most texture visibly and looks very cool from the angle and lighting it was taken from.

2. Which picture is the weakest shot of this assignment?  Why?

My weakest was the smooth texture photo. There nothing much smooth, its gray, and doesn't show much.

3. How can the weakest image be improved on in future shoots?

I could add more color or just take a photo from different angle.

   4. Did you use Photoshop, Lightroom, or both?  What tools in the programs did you use to edit the pictures?

I used Photoshop. I used level/brightness/exposure/vibrance/saturation/ect.

   5. Explain how were you able to meet the objectives (GOALS) of the assignment? **THE GOAL CHANGES EACH LESSON. **SEE THE EQ ON THE ASSIGNMENT AND ANSWER THAT FOR THIS QUESTION.

I was able to take photos that match the texture i decided on. Also I was able to take more than 30 photo.

6. What was easy about this assignment? Why?

The easiest and funnest part in my opinion was just putting stuff together to take photos of.

7. What was difficult about this assignment? Why?

The most difficult was deciding on what the name of the texture was.

8. If you could do this assignment again, what would you do differently?

I would not make the photos too bright like i did to shell and take more photos of other unique things.

9. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being your best effort) how would you rate your effort in this project?  Why would you give yourself that rating?

I think i got a 8.5 because of the amount of photos a taken and the time i took to try my best to make the photos look more appealing to eye.

Composition reflection

   1. Which picture is the best shot of this assignment? Why

It would have to my simplicity picture because the others are either blurry or have to much to look at in photo and lighting are bad.

2. Which picture is the weakest shot of this assignment?  Why?

My weakest shot is the "brightness and sharpness" photo. It is not bright or sharp. It really dark and its hard to see anything.

3. How can the weakest image be improved on in future shoots?

I should not take it in a dark room and I could brighten it in lightroom or i can just take a whole new different photo.

   4. Did you use Photoshop, Lightroom, or both?  What tools in the programs did you use to edit the pictures?

I used lightroom and used contrast.

   5. Explain how were you able to meet the objectives (GOALS) of the assignment? **THE GOAL CHANGES EACH LESSON. **SEE THE EQ ON THE ASSIGNMENT AND ANSWER THAT FOR THIS QUESTION.

Unfortunately I do not think i have meet the objectives to say i completed this.

6. What was easy about this assignment? Why?

Using lightroom was the easiest because i knew what most tools did when i used it.

7. What was difficult about this assignment? Why?

Remembering to take photos and fix lighting.

8. If you could do this assignment again, what would you do differently?

I would take way more photos and not use the same one twice. Ill also make sure the lighting looks okay.

9. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being your best effort) how would you rate your effort in this project?  Why would you give yourself that rating?

I would rate myself a 4/10. I think i did terrible and did not do most composition right. Also the lighting and quality of the photos did not come out good.

Shadow

1. Which picture is the best shot of this assignment? Why

I'd say the 2nd photo is my best because its a cooler pose and the gold color i did with photoshop made it look very different and cooler.

2. Which picture is the weakest shot of this assignment?  Why?

My weakest shot is the 3rd one because the pose is simple and isn't very expressive or interesting.

3. How can the weakest image be improved on in future shoots?

I can use a different photo or edit it in a way that makes it look so cool the pose doesn't matter.

  4. Did you use Photoshop, Lightroom, or both?  What tools in the programs did you use to edit the pictures?

I used the curve option in Photoshop.

   5. Explain how were you able to meet the objectives (GOALS) of the assignment? **THE GOAL CHANGES EACH LESSON. **SEE THE EQ ON THE ASSIGNMENT AND ANSWER THAT FOR THIS QUESTION.

I was able to reach my goal by taking enough photos and editing it so it isn't plain or dull.

6. What was easy about this assignment? Why?

The easiest part of this assignment was editing photo with curve.

7. What was difficult about this assignment? Why?

Choosing a photo to use.

8. If you could do this assignment again, what would you do differently?

I'd try using something other than curve.

9. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being your best effort) how would you rate your effort in this project?  Why would you give yourself that rating?

I would give myself a 9 because I took way more photos than needed or acquired and i didn't just leave the photos without editing it.

Sugar Skull

The best thing I believed I did is not add all the symbols I wanted from previous post. Their wouldn't be room for them and it may look like a mess if I tried to add them. The weakest thing about my skull is I could've added at least 1 or 2 more colors. Other than colors I think I did pretty good & met all requirements to complete my sugar skull. I have used Adobe Illustrator and the pen & smooth tool. I traced with pen over all symbols that are seen on sugar skull, I also used the gradient. If I were to give myself a # out of 10 it would be an 8/10.

(i may edit this more later)

Symbols I might use for sugar skull
I chose this because I have a problem with drawing stars all the time. XD

I chose this because it represents peace which I believe is important.

I chose this because it is a symbol for a character named Rukia which is very similar to my Japanese name.

I chose this because i'm this zodiac sign.

Same as one above, "I chose this because i'm this zodiac sign."

I chose this because Chinese dragon symbol means strength.

This Chinese symbol means loyalty.

I chose this because I consider myself an artist.

Same reason for the one above. "I chose this because I consider myself an artist."

I chose this because roses mean love and they look fabulous.

Same for the one above, "I chose this because roses mean love and they look fabulous."

I chose sunflower because their one of my favorite flowers and it can represent death, so i thought it make sense to use this because we are making skulls.

I chose it because "The ubiquitous yin-yang symbol holds its roots in Taoism/Daoism, a Chinese religion and philosophy. The yin, the dark swirl, is associated with shadows, femininity, and the trough of a wave; the yang, the light swirl, represents brightness, passion and growth." and that it looks very cool.
