painting

1. What is the best thing about your art work? Why?

The sleeves part of the jacket and the left hand.

2. What is the weakest thing about your art work?  Why?

They eyes. They just look too realistic to everything else and out of place. and derpy lol

3. How can the weakest image be improved on in future shoots?

Make the whole character realistic or the eyes less realistic.

4.   What tools in Photoshop did you use to make the image?

The brush tools and mixer brush.

5. Explain how were you able to meet the objectives (GOALS) of the assignment? **THE GOAL CHANGES EACH LESSON. **SEE THE EQ ON THE ASSIGNMENT AND ANSWER THAT FOR THIS QUESTION.

I made a picture on Photoshop with drawing tablet and blended using mixer tool.

6. What was easy about this assignment? Why?

Drawing with tablet. It made it easier to make picture compared to mouse.

7. What was difficult about this assignment? Why?

Making the eyes on my character different, looks strange to me lol.

8. If you could do this assignment again, what would you do differently?

Make head less big if its going to be realistic. Don't make eyes ever again XD

9. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being your best effort) how would you rate your effort in this project?  Why would you give yourself that rating?

I'd give myself a 8 because i worked very hard on it and skipped most of my studys to finish it. I also decided to draw it myself, not going over another photo and made it myself, but it doesnt look that great to me... especially the eyes.

Neon Black Light Photography

1. Which picture is the best shot of this assignment? Why

I think my best shot is the hand because the paint on the hand is very beautiful lokking.

2. Which picture is the weakest shot of this assignment?  Why?

Well if you look at my contact sheet it would be the photos of the two girls because they all blurred and I didn't take them from a good angle.

3. How can the weakest image be improved on in future shoots?

I need to focus my camera and try different angles.

 4. Did you use Photoshop, Lightroom, or both?  What tools in the programs did you use to edit the pictures?

I used Photoshop. I used most things in Image: Adjustments

5. Explain how were you able to meet the objectives (GOALS) of the assignment? **THE GOAL CHANGES EACH LESSON. **SEE THE EQ ON THE ASSIGNMENT AND ANSWER THAT FOR THIS QUESTION.

I was able to take more than 30 photos, and edit 2 good photos in my opinion.

6. What was easy about this assignment? Why?

Taking the photos, well with a good camera XD.

7. What was difficult about this assignment? Why?

Painting on someone else, it was easy to do but difficult to make or come up with good ideas.

8. If you could do this assignment again, what would you do differently?

Try different angles and never use my horrible phone camera again.

9. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being your best effort) how would you rate your effort in this project?  Why would you give yourself that rating?

I'd give myself 8 out of 10 because I took way more that 30 photos, edited the photos (a bit different than usual if you noticed the sparkles) The models were great! but i wouldnt give 10 because of the amount of blurred photos i took :(.

Portraits

Broad

butterfly

rembrant

loop

short

split
1. Which picture is the best shot of this assignment? Why

I think my split looks the best out of them all because the split isn't out of focus or blurry. Also the colors look beautiful together on her.

2. Which picture is the weakest shot of this assignment?  Why?

The one labeled loop looks the weakest to me. Its blurry and the model wasn't very expressive and refused to pose.

3. How can the weakest image be improved on in future shoots?

Either the guy learns to pose or new model, (sorry to the guy :( ) Also i just need to stop using my phone to take these, I couldn't use a camera in that class, (oops.)

 4. Did you use Photoshop, Lightroom, or both?  What tools in the programs did you use to edit the pictures?

I used photoshop, cropping, Image and its adjustments such as levels.

 5. Explain how were you able to meet the objectives (GOALS) of the assignment? **THE GOAL CHANGES EACH LESSON. **SEE THE EQ ON THE ASSIGNMENT AND ANSWER THAT FOR THIS QUESTION.

I was able to take 30+ photos and i think i got every lighting label right.

6. What was easy about this assignment? Why?

Taking photos, everyone was really open to having photos being taken of them.

7. What was difficult about this assignment? Why?

I don't understand why but i cant see the triangle on anyone's face, not just my photos but everyone's XD, am i blind?

8. If you could do this assignment again, what would you do differently?

STOP USING MY PHONE WHY AM I STILL USING IT, ITS HORRIBLE :(((((((((((( but anyways... i think id also make sure to check if i had all lighting because i was nervous i didn't XD.

9. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being your best effort) how would you rate your effort in this project?  Why would you give yourself that rating?

I'd give myself a 10 because of that one day loss of amazing photos cause my stupid self was taking photos wrong :( and having 30+ photos again later after the incident. Also i edited all the photos and reach all objective for project.

For Color photo project

1. Which picture is the best shot of this assignment? Why
The best shot is my picture of Rachel painting her face.

2. Which picture is the weakest shot of this assignment?  Why?
The one of me and Rachel. The light beside us made us ghost lol.

3. How can the weakest image be improved on in future shoots?
Move the light farther away.

4. Did you use Photoshop, Lightroom, or both?  What tools in the programs did you use to edit the pictures?
Used Photoshop, brightness/contrast, levels, black and white, brushes, ect.

5. Explain how were you able to meet the objectives (GOALS) of the assignment? **THE GOAL CHANGES EACH LESSON. **SEE THE EQ ON THE ASSIGNMENT AND ANSWER THAT FOR THIS QUESTION.
I was able to meet the goal by making color in a black & white photo.

6. What was easy about this assignment? Why?
Taking the photo and editing it.

7. What was difficult about this assignment? Why?
Choosing what color would be seen. I wasn't sure if i should show Rachel hair as well.

8. If you could do this assignment again, what would you do differently?
Take more photos and make sure the light isn't to bright.

9. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being your best effort) how would you rate your effort in this project?  Why would you give yourself that rating?
I would give myself a 7 because I could've taken more creative photos of other things. My second photo didn't look that great. probably because I was in it.

Album

1. What is the best thing about your art work? Why?

I think having the ufo idea and the comic frame one is also good. Comic frame shows how i enjoy comics and the ufo idea is cool because it shows abducting things lol.

2. What is the weakest thing about your art work?  Why?

Not making it more crazy and randomly have things placed everywhere.

3. How can the weakest image be improved on in future shoots?

Just try turning the pictures and overlapping them more.

4.   What tools in Photoshop did you use to make the image?

I used text tool, move tool, blending modes, opacity, text tool, and even the 3D option for the text. Eyedropper, brush tools, including downloaded one that makes smoke affects, eraser tool ect.

5. Explain how were you able to meet the objectives (GOALS) of the assignment? **THE GOAL CHANGES EACH LESSON. **SEE THE EQ ON THE ASSIGNMENT AND ANSWER THAT FOR THIS QUESTION.
sdcdI was able to do the following i believe:
-Must use 13 images representing your identity (may be from the internet or you can bring in your own)

-Must use a filter

-Must use a blend mode

-Must use Text somewhere (can be a quote, name, date, etc.)

-Must use a paint brush to add an effect

- Must use opacity

-There should be no 4 corners visible on the pictures.  Must be cut with the selection tools.

-Image Must blend and flow together. DO NOT Copy/Paste a collage.

6. What was easy about this assignment? Why?

Just downloading photos and added them to my album picture. Downloading them isn't difficult and moving them onto my picture isn't difficult either.

7. What was difficult about this assignment? Why?

Picking quotes and images that represent myself or like. I couldn't think of any quotes and I dont really know much about myself lol.

8. If you could do this assignment again, what would you do differently?

I'd might not do the comic frame idea to make mines more random and pictures randomly placed and nice to look at.

9. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being your best effort) how would you rate your effort in this project?  Why would you give yourself that rating?

I'd give myself an 8 because it took me way to long to finish this and I feel like everyone else looks better but I put in an lot of effort, I think I even have more than 13 images :D.

Motion

STOP MOTION

STOP MOTION

BLUR MOTION

BLUR MOTION
1. Which picture is the best shot of this assignment? Why

I think my best shot was my second stop motion picture. I love how u can see the surface of the water were the dye hit the liquid and were the other dye has fallen into the water.

2. Which picture is the weakest shot of this assignment?  Why?

I think my weakest shot is the first blur motion picture. I feel like i didn't stand still enough when i took the pictures so it looks a little off and not as unique movements. I also didn't edit it very much.

3. How can the weakest image be improved on in future shoots?

Edit it to look a bit better or just take a whole completely new photo.

4. Did you use Photoshop, Lightroom, or both?  What tools in the programs did you use to edit the pictures?

I used Photoshop. I used crop to eliminate dead space and edited the levels and colors of the picture.

5. Explain how were you able to meet the objectives (GOALS) of the assignment? **THE GOAL CHANGES EACH LESSON. **SEE THE EQ ON THE ASSIGNMENT AND ANSWER THAT FOR THIS QUESTION.

I was able to meet the objective of the goal by taking plenty of photos that show blur and stop motion.

6. What was easy about this assignment? Why?

It was easy to edit the image.

7. What was difficult about this assignment? Why?

It was difficult to stand still while taking blur motion photo and getting more than a couple photos that were not similar.

8. If you could do this assignment again, what would you do differently?

Id see if my mom can buy me glow sticks and help me take more blur motion photos.

9. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being your best effort) how would you rate your effort in this project?  Why would you give yourself that rating?

Id give myself an 8 for how quickly and good the project came out when working on it for two days but also because i turned it in late because i was a couple projects behind.
